Registering for the IELTS exam is a simple process that ensures you're set to achieve your academic or career goals. Follow these easy steps to complete your IELTS registration for 2025:

Rescheduling & Cancelling IELTS Dates 2025

If you need to cancel or reschedule your IELTS test, candidates facing exceptional circumstances such as medical conditions, bereavement, or military service can request a cancellation or transfer up to five calendar days after the test. Proof is required, and the final decision rests with the test centre.

Cancelling more than five weeks ahead gets a refund minus a 25% admin fee. Less than five weeks before the test, no refund is given, and a no-show is treated as a cancellation. Transferring a test date requires at least five weeks' notice and incurs additional charges.

If you wish to reschedule your test, you can request a transfer at least five weeks before the original date, after deducting the applicable cancellation/postponement fee. The new test date should fall within three months of the original.
