    Modes of Payment for GRE Exam Fees

    ETS does not accept cash payments for the GRE General Test, GRE Subject Tests, or GRE score report fees. They offer a secure online system for you to pay your test fees and schedule your exam (slot booking fee).

    Applicants registering for computer-delivered or paper-delivered GREs can use the following payment methods:

    • Credit/debit cards: American Express, Diners Club International, Discover, JCB Card, MasterCard, RuPay Global, UnionPay, or VISA
    • PayPal
    • eCheck (electronic check)

    In addition to the above, if you are located in India, you may also be able to use local payment methods like UPI and Bharat QR payments through various digital wallets.     Payment Terms

    • We accept payments through various online channels and do not support cash transactions.
    • Full payment is required for all products and services.
    • Failure to pay may result in the inability to access our products and services.
    • Users may be provided the option to pay in Indian Rupees (INR) during online registration.
    • ETS may modify payment options without prior notice.

    Cancellation & Refund Terms

    • No cash refunds are processed by ETS for any products or services.
    • Refunds are credited to the original payment method.
    • Foreign currency refunds are subject to prevailing exchange rates.
    • Refunds are taxable as applicable.
    • Test-takers are ineligible for refunds under certain circumstances, such as failure to follow registration procedures or absence at the test center.
    • Refund processing time for credit, debit card, or bank account payments may take up to 15 business days.

    Test-takers receive full refunds if ETS cancels their orders, except in cases of Force Majeure Events.
